Quraysh — Surah 106

لِاِیۡلٰفِ قُرَیۡشٍ ۙ﴿۱﴾
1
SINCE THE QURAISH have been united,
— Ahmedali
Because of giving alliances to the Quraish.
— Ahmedraza
For the keeping of the Quraish
— Daryabadi
(It is a great Grace and Protection from Allah), for the taming of the Quraish,
— Hilali
For the security of Quraish.
— Itani
Since the Quraysh became accustomed,
— Maududi
For the Ilaf of the Quraysh.
— Mubarakpuri
For the taming of Qureysh.
— Pickthall
For the custom of the Koraysh,
— Qaribullah
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh -
— Sahih
For the protection of the Qureaish--
— Shakir
For the security of the Quraysh:
— Wahiduddin
For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish,
— Yusufali
قریش کو خوگر ہونے کی بناء پر
— عبدالماجد دریابادی
چونکہ (اللہ نے) قریش کو مانوس کردیا تھا

قریش کے دل میں محبت ڈالنے کی وجہ سے۔

اس لیے کہ قریش کو میل دلایا

For the composing of Koraish,

[In gratitude] for solidarity among the Quraysh,
— Qarai
For God's favors to them during their summer and winter journeys,
— Sarwar
اٖلٰفِہِمۡ رِحۡلَۃَ الشِّتَآءِ وَ الصَّیۡفِ ۚ﴿۲﴾
2
United to fit out caravans winter and summer,
— Ahmedali
(We) gave them alliances during both their travels of winter and summer.
— Ahmedraza
For their keeping to the journey in the winter and the summer-
— Daryabadi
(And with all those Allah's Grace and Protections for their taming, We cause) the (Quraish) caravans to set forth safe in winter (to the south), and in summer (to the north without any fear),
— Hilali
Their security during winter and summer journeys.
— Itani
accustomed to the journey of winter and summer,
— Maududi
Their Ilaf caravans, in winter and in summer.
— Mubarakpuri
For their taming (We cause) the caravans to set forth in winter and summer.
— Pickthall
their custom of the winter and summer journey.
— Qaribullah
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer -
— Sahih
Their protection during their trading caravans in the winter and the summer--
— Shakir
their security in their winter and summer journeys.
— Wahiduddin
Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer,-
— Yusufali
اپنے جاڑے اور گرمی کے سفر کے خوگر ہونے کی بناء پر چاہئے تھے
— عبدالماجد دریابادی
کہ وہ سردیوں اور گرمیوں میں (تجارتی) سفر سے مانوس ہوگئے تھے
— عبدالرحمٰن کیلانی
ان کے دل میں سردی اور گرمی کے سفر کی محبت ڈالنے کی وجہ سے۔

ان کے جاڑے اور گرمی دونوں کے کوچ میں میل دلایا (رغبت دلائی)

اس وابستگی کے سبب سے جو سردی اور گرمی کے سفر کے ساتھ ان کو ہے۔

(یعنی) سردیوں اور گرمیوں کے سفر سے ان کو مانوس رکھنے کی وجہ سے۔

یعنی وہ سردی اور گرمی کے موسموں میں (یمن اور شام کے) سفر کرنے کے عادی ہیں۔

(یعنی) جاڑے اور گرمی کے سفروں سے مانوس

انہیں سردیوں اور گرمیوں کے (تجارتی) سفر سے مانوس کر دیا،

Quraish should worship the Lord of this House.

فَلۡیَعۡبُدُوۡا رَبَّ ہٰذَا الۡبَیۡتِ ۙ﴿۳﴾
3
Let them worship the Lord of this House,
— Ahmedali
So they must worship the Lord of this House. (The Ka’aba)
— Ahmedraza
Let them worship the Lord of this House,
— Daryabadi
So let them worship (Allah) the Lord of this House (the Ka'bah in Makkah).
— Hilali
Let them worship the Lord of this House.
— Itani
therefore, let them worship the Lord of this House;
— Maududi
So, let them worship the Lord of this House.
— Mubarakpuri
So let them worship the Lord of this House,
— Pickthall
Therefore let them worship the Lord of this House
— Qaribullah
Let them worship the Lord of this House,
— Sahih
So let them serve the Lord of this House
— Shakir
So let them worship the Lord of this House,
— Wahiduddin
Let them adore the Lord of this House,
— Yusufali
کہ اس خانہ (کعبہ) کے مالک کی عبادت کریں۔
— عبدالماجد دریابادی
لہٰذا انہیں چاہیے کہ اس گھر (کعبہ) کے مالک کی (ہی) عبادت کریں
— عبدالرحمٰن کیلانی
تو ان پر لازم ہے کہ اس گھر کے رب کی عبادت کریں۔
— عبدالسلام بھٹوی
تو انہیں چاہیے اس گھر کے رب کی بندگی کریں،

پس چاہئے کہ وہ اس گھر کے خداوند کی عبادت کریں

پس انہیں بندگی کرنی چاہیے اس گھر کے رب کی۔

لوگوں کو چاہیئے کہ (اس نعمت کے شکر میں) اس گھر کے مالک کی عبادت کریں

پس انہیں چاہئے کہ اسی گھر کے رب کی عبادت کرتے رہیں

اس لیے انہیں چاہیے کہ وہ اس گھر کے مالک کی عبادت کریں۔

لہٰذا اُن کو چاہیے کہ اِس گھر کے رب کی عبادت کریں

پس انہیں چاہئے کہ اس گھر (خانہ کعبہ) کے رب کی عبادت کریں (تاکہ اس کی شکر گزاری ہو)،

So let them serve the Lord of this House

let them worship the Lord of this House,

It is He who has fed them when they were hungry

الَّذِیۡۤ اَطۡعَمَہُمۡ مِّنۡ جُوۡعٍ ۬ۙ وَّ اٰمَنَہُمۡ مِّنۡ خَوۡفٍ ٪﴿۴﴾
4
Who provided them against destitution and gave them security against fear.
— Ahmedali
The One Who gave them food in hunger, and bestowed them safety from a great fear.
— Ahmedraza
Who hath fed them against hunger; and hath rendered them secure from fear.
— Daryabadi
(He) Who has fed them against hunger, and has made them safe from fear.
— Hilali
Who has fed them against hunger, and has secured them against fear.
— Itani
Who fed them against hunger, and secured them against fear.
— Maududi
Who has fed them against hunger, and has made them safe from fear.
— Mubarakpuri
Who hath fed them against hunger and hath made them safe from fear.
— Pickthall
who fed them from hunger and secured them from fear.
— Qaribullah
Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
— Sahih
Who feeds them against hunger and gives them security against fear.
— Shakir
who provided them with food lest they go hungry and saved them from fear.
— Wahiduddin
Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger).
— Yusufali
جس نے ان کو بھوک میں کھانے کو دیا اور انہیں خوف سے امن دیا۔
— عبدالماجد دریابادی
جس نے انہیں بھوک (کے دنوں) میں کھانا کھلایا اور انہیں خوف سے (بچا کر) امن عطا کیا
— عبدالرحمٰن کیلانی
وہ جس نے انھیں بھوک سے (بچا کر) کھانا دیا اور خوف سے (بچا کر) امن دیا۔
— عبدالسلام بھٹوی
جس نے انہیں بھوک میں کھانا دیا، اور انہیں ایک بڑے خوف سے امان بخشا

جس نے انہیں قحط کے سبب سے کھلایا اور خوف کے سبب سے امن بخشا

جس نے انہیں بھوک میں کھانے کو دیا ور انہیں خوف سے امن عطا کیا۔

جس نے انہیں بھوک (یعنی فقر و فاقہ کے حالات) میں کھانا دیا (یعنی رِزق فراہم کیا) اور (دشمنوں کے) خوف سے امن بخشا (یعنی محفوظ و مامون زندگی سے نوازا)،
